Hey Christy. Hope you had a great weekend. We missed you in Dallas. The event was very cool and if you can you should try and make Denver. I'm going to try. Gaye

Hi Christy, I look forward to spending many transformation challenges with you. Even though I will be at my goal weight by the end of the next challenge if everything goes according to plan, I will be with t.com for a VERY long time. I'll need the continued support and we'll all continue to transform on the inside. That's one of the beautiful things that I'm learning about life; continuing to evolve throughout my entire life and remembering there is always something new to learn! xoxo Arika

The lighthouse in my profile pic is in Bonavista, Newfoundland. If you ever have a chance to visit NFLD, you must - it is one of the most beautiful places!!

Hey buddy, just checking in to see how your day was. The first day of WAB for me didn't go as planned. I worked all day and didn't keep up with my meals, so it ended up being a free day with healthier versions of junk food from Whole Foods. Hope you had a good day! Hugs, Arika

I haven't done anything different I seem to be getting older I guess...I am 40 now and can't get away with things like I did when I was in my 20's or 30's. I hurt my elbow Bench Pressing and it wasn't even much....:o(.....

I Am

I'm a wife, I'm a mother, I'm am a fit person wanna be. I want to be able to do whatever I feel like doing, take care of my husband, play with my kids, and shop in cute stores. I want to participate in endurance sports and succeed. I care about helping people who are struggling both financially and mentally due to medical problems or bad economies. I want to support them anyway I can. Having been in that horrible place, I want to help others move out of it.

My Favorite Charity

To me, Transformation Means

Making myself into the person I dream I am.

My Goals

HEART AND SOUL:
Looking forward, 18 weeks from now, three things that I am doing which indicate that I am more in alignment with my heart-centered values are:

1.
I will be able to visit my religious temple once a month.
2.
Meditation/Prayer will be a morning and evening occurrence
3.
Taking care of me will be a necessity and not a refreshing change.

EMOTIONS:

Looking forward, 18 weeks from now, the three most predominant inner feelings which describe what I’m experiencing are:

1.
Excited for Life
2.
Inner Strength
3.
Peace

The person I am on the outside will be transforming into the person I dream I am on the inside.
I will not resent my life but be grateful for every breath.
I will accept that life can be difficult but will have learned to ask for and accept help.

Sleep will not be an escape but a necessity.

FRAME OF MIND:
Three new beliefs about my ability to make changes for the better that are evident from my transformation success so far are:

1.
I CAN DO IT!!!

2.
I AM STRONG

3.
I AM WORTHY OF HAVING A GREAT LIFE AND MY FAMILY IS WORTHY OF HAVING A GREAT WIFE AND MOTHER.

BODY:
Three specific statements which describe the transformation of my physical condition and health, 18 weeks from now, which are objectively verifiable and measureable are:

1.
I will weight 170 or less.

2.
I will be able to run a 5k

I will be able to sleep without prescription medication

My Intentions

My intentions are to be a healthy, happy, strong person...inside out.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I'd like to inspire my children to always have a life of fitness and my husband to start on a journey to strengthen his body and enjoy is life more fully.
