I Am
Aimee...41 year old mom to 14 year old Emily and 8 year old Noah! I have been married for 19 years to my hubby Charles! We live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana...home of the best food and the world and probably the most heart disease and diabetes in the world!!! I am a nurse practitioner and I work on campus at the university in student health! I love working with college students and view it as my opportunity to have an impact on the health of our young people....our future!I picked up Bill's book in the library one day 3 years ago, desperate to get in shape and love myself again!! I had hit 200 pounds and was working long hours and totally neglecting ME taking care of others. BFL is now pretty much the way I (we--my hubby--also does BFL) live! I have lost 50 pounds and gained plenty of muscle and do not intend to stop here!! I have learned that to take care of others, you have to take care of yourself!
My Favorite Charity
My church--First Presbyterian--youth ministries and missions and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!
To me, Transformation Means
To me, transformation is taking all the jumbled up pieces inside and putting them all together so that the whole amazing puzzle is complete!!! I believe we all have the stuff to do it, we just need to make up our minds to get it done!!!!! My puzzle is still only partly finished.....and I am liking how it is looking so far!

Hi Aimee, It is 6.30 am and the day is about to begin....the boys are still sleeping which is highly unusual...the little monkeys have got me trained for the early morning starts and NOW they want a sleep in..never trust a 2 year old..... Life is wonderful (AMAZING) on the island.....it has been a lovely summer filled with long blue sky days....lots of time with the family. I have been training hard...a little too hard..... thus some minor strains and inflamation.......but I feel great now and raring to go. I had another read through your profile and photos....you sound and look in really good shape both in spirit and body.... Looking at all the friends that drop you notes of love and appreciation really reinforces in my mind what a pillar of this community you are. Have a wonderful day my gorgeous and generous friend.
