Hi Bonnie! Thanks for stopping by my profile! To answer your question about "progress not perfection" posts.....In Bill's T#6 assignment he said this in his action step, "Okay, here’s what I’m asking from you now… Please share at least 2 signs of your positive progress so far in the comments section below. From there, please make the commitment to look for and find at least 2 signs of your continued progress each day and write them down in your journal, and/or share them in a new forum group called “Progress not Perfection.” I hope that helps! I share my 2 things daily in this thread on the forums...........http://www.transformation.com/forum/progress-not-perfection/1617-2-things.html Love ya! m'wah! Jan

I Am

I am married to a wonderful man and am a mom to two beautiful children. My family and faith are the most important things in my life.I'm not working right now but I have always been drawn to helping others in some way. In looking back on my various careers I have always had some type of service-oriented job.... flight attendant, nurse, teacher, and massage therapist. As I am getting older I am beginning to realize that I also need to take care of myself. Somewhere along the way I just let myself go and am just now starting to get my life back. I'm not sure what happened and how I lost myself and lost sight of my purpose, but my mother was diagnosed in 2006 with pancreatic cancer and I think that was a huge wake-up call for me! Last year I lost 42 lbs but I have gained back almost 15 lbs. I would still like to lose more weight. decrease my body fat and firm up. I also feel led to really find out what my purpose in life is and grow in my faith and spirituality. I keep getting these little "nudges" and know that God is not finished with me yet.

My Favorite Charity

Pacreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan)

To me, Transformation Means

The dictionary defines transformation as "change in form, appearance, nature, or character". When I think of transformation I envision the wondrous metamorphosis of the humble caterpillar. We cannot see the changes that are taking place as the caterpillar is going through this process of change, but after much struggle the caterpillar emerges transformed into a beautiful butterfly. Just like the butterfly sheds its heavy cocoon and flies free I want to shed all the layers that are holding me back and emerge from my cocoon and burst free.

My Goals

1) Lose 10- 15 more lbs.2) Decrease body fat 3) Firm up and be able to see my muscles that have been in hiding 4) Grow in my faith and in my walk with God

My Intentions

To transform myself into a healthier, happier person...in body, mind and spirit and have a more balanced life. I want to enjoy the journey instead of only focusing on the destination and make this truly a life-style change.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I want to inspire anyone who is struggling with body image or dealing with health challenges that we can all be healthier and that we can take control of our lives, enact change and emerge as beautiful butterflies.
