I Am

Used to be the Fit Guy, Now I'm the Fat Guy! I'm married to a wonderful woman and we have 2 small children. I also work and go to college full time with a double major in; Nursing and Health Promotions. Boy has my body taken a backseat during the last 3 years of college. College has been an awsome experience for me at this age (37). It has been a dream come true for me, sort of a transformation in its own right. But it has taken up all of my free time, and my body has paid the price, but not for long!

Starting Over; Again

This is a very difficult piece to write as I hoped by this point in time to be finishing up a beautiful transformation article on why I should be chosen to win this championship round. Boy would Bill be making a mistake if he chose me.      I started

Hey Bryan! We have so much in commom! I am a nurse who is just starting her PhD in Health Education and Promotion and I want to walk the walk. I wish you luck. Let's stay in touch. My oldest just left home to go to SEMO - 5 hours away. Knowing there are nice people like you there makes me worry a litle less.

Hey Bryan! I went through college in my 30's too - I was too scatterbrained around 18 to concentrate on college - I go SO MUCH MORE out of it in my 30's! WELCOME!!!

Thanks floorance, I have found that us "non-trads" always have a way of finding one another. In a college classroom when I hear someone say theyre over 30 or they have a child I'm like "thats my people!"

My Favorite Charity

To me, Transformation Means

Transformation means a renewal. A renewal of the mind, body, and spirit. It means changing the things that got me here, into things that can get me "There." Those things are habbits, ideas, ways of thinking, self talk, etc. Ive had a transformation before; and it changed my life.

My Goals

My goals are; 1. To take control of my time and be accountable for my use of it. 2. To lower my blood pressure to an acceptable 120/80. 3. To lose 40 pounds of fat and gain 10 pounds of muscle. This will put me back at 190 pounds.

My Intentions

To live up to my goals.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I would like to inspire my wife and my 2 children. They have seen me free-fall the last 3 years and I would love for them to see me come back and defeat this enemy! I would also like to inspire my co-workers and my classmates. Most of them are young college kids who feel invincible at this point in thier lives, and I would love to show them by example that true change is possible.
