Miguel, Thank you for sharing your journey. I was glad to hear you on the conf call last night. Please be patient and "Keep At It". You are taking positive changes and little by little you will start feeling improvements and progress. I have been part of this wonderful community for almost 4 years. I was not one of those "miracle 3 months wonder", but I have stayed consistent. Even with ups and downs, and even at times "less than stellar performances," I Kept At It. That PERSISTENCE has been invaluable and has strengthen me in ways I cannot describe. It is hard to change everything at the same time. Keep in mind that as you progress, you will feel the need to modify or 'fine tune' certain aspects of your Life (i.e. nutrition, exercise, habits). It is all part of a Magnificent Journey. Its all about LOVE my friend = Loving your self and treating yourself right because you are WORTH IT. Loving others, because they may benefit from your experience and support. I Am

A father to a beautiful daughter of 13 years and I am also a brand new husband to my beautiful wife. I am also a man with a huge heart but also a man with many negative behaviors. I want to learn how to love myself so that I can learn how to love the people I care about the most. I feel that if I can change my body (The Temple) that this in turn will help me feed the soul with new learned behaviors. Losing the weight is no longer the most important goal in my life anymore. I will become a strong human being in the inside...I will do this because I will never give up!!!!

My Favorite Charity

To me, Transformation Means

losing weight by eating healthy and exercising your mind and body. For I find the exercise is the most enjoyable aspect of this and the eating healthy once a week the most difficult. That is why I am still here at transformation, because I am not going to give up on myself and settle. I will continue to grow inside and out like a butterfly. I will make this work for me and eat correctly every week. Than I will keep the rebound weight off and work on the mind and soul at the same time I am losing the weight. I will not wait for the weight to come off and keep fighting a losing battle. I will deal with both aspects and correct the underlying problem. I love myself and I know I can do this. 2/5/2011

My Goals

1.) I will lose 30 lbs of unwanted bodyweight from 235 to 205 lbs.
2.) I will commit to 3 weight lifting days and 3 cardio days a week.
3.) I will lose 2 - 3 inches on my chest and stomach.
4.) I will eat 6 healthy meals a day for 6 days a week.


My Intentions

"Return to Love..Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light,not our darkness that most frightens us...and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same..." I love this quote that is why I have placed it as my intention....this is my intention.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I'd like to inspire myself into taking this challenge seriously and setting urgency into my deadlines.
