Assignments 4, 5, and 6 will post soon.

After reading through assignments 4, 5, 6, and doing some serious soul searching, I have discovered some issues within that will take more than a weeks assignment to deal with.  I have to be honest.  I can't find an easy way through this.  I am taking this whole thing seriously.&...

Cheryl- A good way to help me stay into today is circle the calandar date each day and make a commitment to be present for that day and not to get to thinking too far ahead. I think we are alot alike in that department. Your doing great..Love you..Coach

Here is my answer to Bills question about my 2 positive changes lately. CHANGE #1: Yesterday evening, I was faced with a sudden earth shaking emergency in my family. I let off steam, but I didn't eat over it. I was exhausted this morning, and I could have easily skipped my 6:00 a.m. workout with my trainer. But I made the decision/choice to go and I worked harder than I had planned. I took out my emotions and frustrations on the weights instead of eating crazy food or just sleeping things off. I reached new levels today! I am so glad I pushed through my obstacles! CHANGE #2: I made the realization today that some obstacles thrown into our lives give us the opportunity to move to a higher level of faith and actually may detour us onto a better road to success. This does not make the situation any better, but I am learning to let go and let God take control. I am learning to dial down and let peace and positive thoughts fill my soul. It's ok to be emotional and express anger, but then you must let it all go. I feel so much freedom in my heart and soul. I can sleep well tonight with a peace that passes understanding. Cheryl

Hello: It's 1:15 a.m. and I just entered the new challenge.    I need a lot of help.  I have 70 pounds to lose and I am having a real tough time physically (metabolic resistance), emotionally and spiritually.  My goal is to get as much of this weight (mostly belly fat) off by the Tennessee Champions weekend in October.  It's crutial as I have Diabetes type II and I need to get it into control.   I am tired of injecting insulin everyday.   I believe that I can get rid of the Diabetes if I can just get down under 200 lbs.    I hope  with all my heart that I can win this battle.

I Am

I am a person who loves life. I am a survivor in life. Even though I have passed through some really tough times, I can look back at those times and appreciate the experiences. I have been shaped and toughened up a bit. I am greatful for Gods grace and mercy in everything. My mission in life is to always give back by helping those in need. That could mean praying for the sick, feeding the needy, making blankets and scarves for the homeless, teaching life skills to people with mental disibilities, volunteering time at the nursing home or hospital. That is what my heart and soul are all about these days.

My Favorite Charity

The Leukemia Society

To me, Transformation Means

My thoughts about Transformation have changed some. I believe it is important to take the tools God has given us throughout our lives and use them, not to just let them sit on the shelf of life. What good is a tool if you never use it? I feel tools are strengths we have gained in life. They also come through looking at our lives honestly and admitting we need to make positive changes to become our best in mind, body, soul and spirit. We need to make a goal and plan to achieve these changes. And most importantly, we need to believe in ourselves a lot more. The bible says in Proverbs, "hope deferred makes the heart sick". I truly believe that. To achieve my goals in this Challenge, I will be more positive minded and visulize my personal success. I will put my heart and soul in this effort to reach a better level of health and fitness.

My Goals

My goal is to become stronger in spirit, more focused in mind and physically fit. My goal is to lose 50 lbs. of fat, gain physical strength and most importantly, it will allow me to enter a new demension in my life.

My Intentions

To transform into a strong, healthy, happy person so I can help others in need to achieve their best as well.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I would like to inspire people who are down and out and have stopped believing in themselves. People who have lost hope that anything could change in their life for the better.
