Hey Chris! I am so encouraged by your transformation! I've only just begun a couple weeks ago, and I was wondering if there is a group here in the Henderson/Vegas area that you know about? :)

Hi Chris! How the heck are you doing? I've been away a bit from T.com but am back now and have been posting in Jenn's group. Does she know how awesome she is and how uplifting she is to all of us in our group? Even when she/you both are dealing with some tough stuff, she's always there for us! I hope you are doing well and staying on top of things and making sure you are taking care of YOU, too! Hugs! Susanna

Missing your presence in the community and hoping life is full of love and laughter for you now!!

medfen21 wrote at 11:23 AM on Aug 03, 2011

Hello Chris, I am new to this community and the T process. Still trying to get my bearings with this site and the 18 steps; and am hoping to make some quality friends who can aid me in my journey. There is so much to take in and I am trying to make time for refelction on many of the intimately personal questions one must ask oneself, as well as being honest with oneself in order to proceed in the T. For example: coming to bare bones realization how a perpetual ache of loss, loneliness, disappointment, depression, etc., has a way of becoming a part of one's character; as though one just sort of unknowingly drifts into it like an aimless sailor at sea. The T process forces one to disect these life forces and then redirect one's mind, emotion, and power of action to become someone else, the someone you wish you were. Your testimony, which I have just heard/read has blessed me and strengthed me in my new decision. I appreciated your transparency and look forward to any advise, wisdom, and experience that you could offer me along the way...

I Am

... traveling in a new direction lately.

...standing taller, with certainty.

... constantly improving, uncomfortable with complacency.

...Renewed, forgiving, and forgiven.

...insightful, spiritual, and humble.

...alive with the burning fire of passion that comes from following my dreams.

...Active, engaged, and present.

...however, a bit of a wandering mind.

...practicing Transformationg in my life, day by day.

...focusing on progress, not perfection.

...letting go of fear and attachment

...a loving father, who like Scrooge one morning, woke up realizing that there is still time.

...a strong and supportive husband.

...fortunate and grateful.

...WILLING TO HELP ANYONE IN THIS COMMUNITY IN ANY WAY THAT I CAN!

...Excited about the New Year and the challenge and the opportunity that it brings.

My Favorite Charity

Any charity that is improving lives, and that does so with as little overhead as possible… The Make-A-Wish Foundation is amazing in this regard, and with all that they do, I can proudly declare this organization as my favorite.

To me, Transformation Means

Stepping out of the comfort zone, dropping the internal weight, and allowing yourself to rise to a higher state of being.

Initially, I thought that Transformation.com was just about making physical changes and the lifestyle changes that would support them. As I moved through my challenges, I saw that transformation is so much more than that. Transformation is about letting go of what was holding me back, realizing my potential, giving everything I can, and building a foundation for a life filled with my wildest dreams coming true. I never would have imagined that I would finish this transformation with my son and his love back in my life. I would never have guessed it would have come with my once-lost one true love and another precious little guy.

Through the assignments, I was able to transform by shedding off walls and layers that don’t serve me anymore, taking a good look at who I really am, and building my new life based on those discoveries.

My Goals

Let's keep these simple shall we?

I WILL weigh 190 lbs. by the end of the 18 Week challenge! 1/1/11 - 5/7/11.
-currently I'm 232, up about 24 lbs. from my lowest weight. I have some work to do here. 42 lbs.

-I will be living in a setting more condusive to outside fun and family values.

-My family will be able to comfortably live with less. So by the end of this challenge we will be experienced, proficient, and comfortable living on a (tighter) budget. I will lead the way, there's a lot of over-consumtion of many sorts that I can let go of. I will.

-I will be a part of a great new group with great new members... My goal is to have this group see no less than 15 people through a successful completion of the 18 week challenge. I'm invested. So if your interested, join up!

My Intentions

I intend to be there for my family in every way possible, and always make sure that I am there for them no matter what.

I intend to continue releasing thoughts, fears, and habits that no longer serve me.

I intend to follow my dreams, and to not be afraid to walk out into the great unknown in order to see them materialize . This requires further stepping out of my comfort zone. It also requires taking a look at new things that I can give up in order to achieve what it is I want most.

So, what is it I want most. I want a lifestyle that fits my values and mind-type. I want fulfilling, purposeful action in my life; the kind that makes its mark on other people in profound ways. I desire to teach others, utilizing all that mother nature has in her natural supremely intelligent beauty, tp help others find fulfillment, joy, hope, strength, peace and passion in their lives.

I will be here, sharing what I can, and reaching out to those out there in the community ready to change. I intend to keep being an example of the kind of changes that can happen with the transformation process.

I will keep cleaning my room. Giving the very best I can to people looking to make positive changes in their lives and the lives of others.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

First and foremost, I would like to inspire my wife and children. I believe I have, and I know that they've inspired me in return.

However, as an aware and connected being... I believe that we are all connected and part of something greater. This belief and feeling assures me that I don't want to pick and choose who I would like to inspire. I've heard Bill say before something like, "I just go to the corner and wait for directions." That very closely describes how I feel about this.

With love and a healthy detachment from other's outcome, I'll continue being the best me possible, hoping that it rubs off here and there. I know other's have affected me the same way, especially here at Transformation.com!
