Dusty, I had a dream about you today! I guess since I'm unable to be in Dallas, my dreams are still taking me there! All over Dallas, there were signs posted on streetposts that said, "If you fall down and can't get back up, call Dusty!" Honestly, I just laughed about it. thinking it was just a silly dream..at first...then I read your assignment 8 and I began to wonder about how your heart's desire to help people may be what that dream was about! I'm so glad God has your servant's heart here with us!! love and prayers, MaryPat

Nutrition Plan to control your hunger and stop cravings:
http://www.transformation.com/Dustyluv/blog/Uncategorized/Beat-Diabetes-By-Eating-Right-How-I-Got-Off-Insulin/65249

I am a Transformed man. God started to intervene in my life when I was almost 400 pounds and an insulin dependent diabetic. I was on my way to an early grave. I was digging a deep death trap with a fork a spoon and a knife. Now I am a man on a mission to BE THE CHANGE! I eat healthy nutritious foods and I am always pushing hard at the gym. I want to live and I care about the FAT problem we have in this country and want to be an inspiration to anyone wanting to change their life. My hearts desire is to reach those who have given up and are just existing, waiting on death to take them.

I am also a former Pastor who does not care about the message being preached from the Pulpit today. The only true message that needs to be preached is Christ crucified for the sins of the World. God is not a cosmic piggy bank or a Genie in a bottle. He has been downgraded to a servant of Man and not who He really is. He is a Savior that brings hope to a lost and dying World. He can bring peace to a soul and hope to the hopeless, not riches if you do the right thing or poverty if you are bad. God Himself is what you need.

To me, Transformation Means

The photo below is where I came from...This is NOT my biggest weight. I was 30-40 pounds heavier than this...

My Goals

Transformation to me means to get real with being who God created you to be. You were not created to ne fat and unhealthy. I was not create to be selfish and live for myself. I was not created to live inside a closed life, but to be open , honest, transparent and kind. I am slowly changing my life to fit back into the mold God created in the first place. A REAL man of God...

My goal is to become half the man I used to be this year. From 400 pounds down to 200 pounds.

I will be running the Dallas 1/2 Marathon in March. I expect to do much better than I did In the Denver Marathon. I plan on having fun!

My desire is to inspire anyone to see ther is hope even when they are hopelessly fat and that nothing is impossible. If you need my help I will be more than happy to help guide you through any of life's problems...

But more importantly I want to BE THE CHANGE. That means I have to be everything that God wants me to be. I have to be kind and loving to others as well as being a firm guide for them. In order to do that I must keep myself moving forward with my own Transformation.

I ultimately teach others that they must understand that we never stop Transforming. There are only changing goals. When one is reached another will appear. I have to be aware of what I need to do and where God desires me to be.

No real and worthwhile goals can be reached without outstanding people in your circle of influence. My goals will always include helping others reach their full potential in life as well as receiving help and learning new things about myself.

My Intentions

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I truly want to inspire other people who have given up on being healthy. Those who really want out of the kind of trouble I was in. To reach down and pull anyone who wants to come out of their grave and live! I want to reach the people that society shuns because they are fat! If they want it. really want it I want to help.

The main thing for me is to give people a wake up call, a kick in the pants and motivation for them to do it themselves so they in turn can help others.
