Just wanted to send my support your way! I have been a rollercoaster with BFL and so I know having a support network like this place is key. Watch the TTV videos, they help me stay connected with those also struggling when I am feeling down. Glad you are here, and you matter my friend! -Andrew

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome and encouragement. I started the BFL program this week and I will need the support. I want to succeed so bad this time. My days are like roller coasters at times I want the quick fix instant gratification and at times I can accept that I have to consistently make healthy choices day after day. I feel very fortunate to have found this community.

I Am

I have been struggling with addictions as far back as I can remember. I work hard to lose weight and succeed, I reach my goal weight (sometimes this means losing 40 lbs), only to gain it all back in 4 months. I repeat this vicious cycle over and over. To be brutally honest what I care about most is myself. Meaning I indulge in whatever feels good to me even when I know it is bad for me. I want to change.

What I care about is Transforming my life and making healthy choices. I wouldn't mind winning the Transformation Challenge either.

My Favorite Charity

To me, Transformation Means

I am changing on the inside. This means that I will be different than before. My perception of food and exercise must change. No longer will I look at exercise as a chore but as an investment in myself that will pay dividends in my self-esteem, personal relationships, career and many other aspects of my life. No longer will I see food as the enemy but as valuable nutritional fuel to feed my body.

My Goals

Mid-Term Goal: Complete the Transformation Challenge in May of 2010
Short-Term Goal: Exercise 6X's a week. and eat 6 nutritionally balanced meals a day.

My Intentions

My intentions are to help others on this same journey. This Country can be the most fit Country in the world.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I would like to inspire anyone who is sick and tired of being sick and tired.
