Progress not PerfectionI won't list my entire worksheet here, but I made some awesome discoveries through this assignment:1.  I am harder on myself than I need to be.  By focusing on progress I will lead myself in a positive direction rather than focusing on the slips or

Hey Christa, thank you kindly for stopping by with bday wishes, I had a great time and I think it was more like a "free meal" that night, and a "free meal" on saturday...one time, I think I'm okay! Had a prior commitment so no on Dallas, but I will be more than ready for October's get-together. I'm running my longest race ever, a 7k, that same weekend, so I'll be there in spirit! Have a wonderful weekend my friend! best, Tom

Hey Girl!!! Yes we are going to Dallas. Visit family and visit T.com. If you want to fly in for Fri and Sat, we can pick you up at the airport and you can stay with us at Scott's grandmothers. She won't be there it will just be us. Everything you mentioned sounds good at the get together. We can plan a date when we get back. Do you have a date in mind? Hugs, Cindy

Scott told me you could not make the meeting on Sunday. I am going to miss you so much. If we ever get anymore snow you guys can come up snowshoeing. I went with a friend the other day and busted it twice. Funny, it didn't hurt as much as it use to but I am still a dork. lol Hope to see you soon. Love ya, Cindy

Christa, Thank you so much for the nice comments on my blog. I have really enjoyed reading your profile and learning a bit about you. Boy can I relate on your half marathon goal - I just ran my first ever 5K two weeks ago, and I'm training for the half marathon in Dallas. I Am

I am a mother of two wonderful children, a boy and a girl. I am a wife to an awesome stay-at-home dad. Every day I do my best to do the right thing and experience life while we raise our children. I have had a slow start over these 36 years finding the courage to be true to myself and reach for my potential. I want to be my best so I can give my all.

My Favorite Charity

Susan Komen Foundation

To me, Transformation Means

Finding the Self that I always envision. In my mind I see the person I want to be, physically and spiritually. I have made progress in many areas in my life, and that Self is becoming clearer and closer in my grasp. Transformation is being my true self, my authentic self, and enjoying the people and the places in my life. It also means helping others find their true, authentic selves as I begin my journey to my dream of becoming a life coach and motivational speaker.

My Goals

As I begin my third Transformation, my goal is to run a Half Marathon in May! This was out of the question a year ago...I would have choked on the word, but I am going to train for it! I am trying to get leaner.I will partake in clean meals, 5 to 6 per day and enjoy free days sparingly, once per week maximum. I will continue to drink 3 quarts of water per day and give myself one rest day each week. I will continue to weight train 2 days per week with a HIIT and train for the marathon the other 4 days of the week!

My Intentions

It is my hope that my kids see my example throughout their childhood and decide to use the example to have a head start of taking care of their lives. I also hope to leave behind the character defects that make me self-doubting and insecure.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

I would like to inspire anyone who is self-doubting. It seems that when you have that toxic, horrible dialogue with yourself, whether any of it holds any weight for you, you still believe it. It becomes your truth. I want to inspire others who are lacking in other areas of their life simply because they self-doubt. It is possible for ANYONE to become strong, assured, enlightened, happy, and proud...that carries over into all the other areas of their life which didn't seem to sparkle before a Transformation. I would like to inspire another person to experience that.
