Day 4
breakfast: english muffin and PB, couple sips of coffee with 1/2 1/2 & sugar free syrup
snack: missed
lunch: 2 egg omelet with cheddar ratatouille and ham, slice of spinach and potato torte, and a bite size fruit tart (I was starving bc I missed my snack and because of this I ate the spinach and potato torte that came with the omelet instead of toast)
*I was working out of town and stopped at a french bakery with the person I'm working with, the omelet was a pretty good choice especially since I could smell all of the bread and desserts baking, but I should have said no to the spinach potato torte. For being in a bakery with AMAZING desserts I think only getting a teeny bite size fruit tart was not that bad
snack: missed, full from lunch
dinner: a couple handfuls of popcorn and a diet soda
This week I've been stressed about the project I'm doing for work and I didn't plan my meals out well...today's eating especially has room for improvement. One of my goals is to plan my meals out and make sure I have healthy food with me. Failing to plan is planning to fail. Lunch today made me feel sick after. I ate too much at one time. The torte had a pie pastry kind of crust. My husband was making frozen pizzas when I got home and had popcorn made. I don't want frozen pizza and don't feel like cooking for myself, and feel guilty about lunch so I'm skipping dinner. I had a couple handfuls of popcorn (it smelled so good) and a diet soda. I never know what to do for dinner when I eat crappy earlier in the day. It seems like I should skip dinner or eat something really light. I am going to order some Right Light, seems like a shake would be a good choice.
Workout: Worked out with Jess today...We did a circuit with step ups onto the bench, squat/press w/ 15lb weights, rows, front/side/back lunges, stand up/sit downs, TRX flies and pullups, "V" situps...and I think there were some more moves but I can't remember. It was a good workout!
Mental State: Was cranky all day and stressed. The weather was so cold and dreary, weather seems to really affect my mood. I felt much better after I worked out and rode my horse :)
My horse was really good tonight, only 3 weeks until our first horse show! I am nervous and excited! I normally ride 5-6 days/week...my horse is an athlete and gets days off, too
Riding is the best part of my day!
