Day 3
Day 3:
Breakfast: ezekiel english muffin & PB
Snack: missed
Lunch: half sirloin steak, pepper, and cheese panini on wheat with fresh made chips :) mmm
Snack: apple & string cheese
Dinner: barber foods creme brie and apple stuffed chicken and steamed veggies
Workout: Ran 3 laps around the field, and did rope training
Notes: I was planning on a 4 mile easy tempo run but when I put my sneakers on my dogs thought we were going to the field to run and got SOOOO excited, and I felt guilty so I changed my shoes and got my butt out there and ran 3 field laps instead
The pups didn't want me to go for an easy run they wanted me to run my butt up the darn hill apparently LOL!!! And I love them too much to let them down! This run I did a little slower and it felt easier, it was also much warmer out. After the 3 field laps I went over in the barn by my house where we have some ropes set up for TOUGH MUDDER training! I made it all the way across the rope for the first time tonight!!!! My rope is actually a tow strap that I have hooked between two posts :) After I got across the rope I did 3 sets of assisted pullups (I have a resistance band hooked on the tow rope I put my foot in so it helps me to pull my body weight up), I used the "blue" band and did 10, 5, and 5. After the pullups I did 3 sets of 10 rope swings, I hang on the rope and swing my legs back and forth/up so that I am working my core and my arms. To finish off my rope training I did some holds on a actual rope that is hanging, it is sliperry and not climbing rope but I held my own body weight up on it to fatigue. Rope training was great! The Tough Mudder is in 30 days!! AHHH! April 29th!
