be transformed...change your mind's way of thinking

the world will tell you "this is as good as it gets"...."this is your lot in life"..."its all downhill from here"...."its all falling apart"..."there is no hope"

The writer of this Scripture points us to NOT conform to THAT way of thinking but renew our minds...CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK...and discern...what is GOOD...ACCEPTABLE...PERFECT.

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God -- what is good and acceptable and perfect.

 so...begin today..stop...listen...change the way you think about whats in front of you and how you see yourself.

God made you and delights in you...you are beautiful and full of endless possibility....think on the good things.

picture them with your mind.  

Joy with your family.

Playing games with your children and NOT snapping at them to clean up...grow up!...GET OUT!

this has had a profound impact on me personally.

i no longer agree with every thought that comes thru my head. i discern..who is speaking it?

"i cant do that"..."why not? sure i can!"

"i need to eat that now"...."no,i dont NEED it... i just ate my planned meal an hour ago and at 3 pm i will have my...."

"its his fault that i didnt...."...."what? he didnt make you....you chose to not do it...now DO IT"

"i cant do my full workout today because..." ...."OH gimme a Break Already!! its another 6 minutes! YES YOU CAN...completing feel sooo much better than quitting early!"

 my mind is being transformed from the can'ts and needs and blahblah blah to YES! YOU CAN DO IT!

Joy that comes from the inside and can't help but bubbling over onto those around you.

yah...be transformed.
