I Am
I am the Body for LIFE 2003 Grand Champion 50+. My desire is to spend my time on earth LOVING God, myself and others with my whole heart, INVESTING in people rather than things, FOCUSING on the future, and intentionally ENJOYING life! I am a 14 year cancer survivor, a wife of 36 years, a mother of two daughters in their thirties, and a grandmother three precious grandsons, and one amazing granddaughter. I have been a public school teacher for the past 23 years, and I currently teach first grade. I will live a long life and be able to enjoy seeing my grandchildren become grandparents! Long live the CHAMPIONS!

To me, Transformation Means
positive change. It means throwing off what the world thinks that you should be and becoming all that you were born to be. "...God's way of making us right with himself depends on faith-counting on Christ alone." My Goals
To live each of my days on earth in a fit and healthy body with a sharp mind, positive emotions, and a strong spirit! To call on God, but row away from the rocks!

To live as a true believer in the love and will of God. To fulfill my destiny and to be a blessing.

I would like to inspire my husband, my daughters, my grandchildren, my sisters, my students, and all people of the world over and under 50 years old!

Welcome! Glad to see that you have joined us! I also did the challenge in 2003 and was one of the RSA local top 3 finalists in my category.This year I can participate in the 50+ category and I hope to get some inspiration from you! Unfortunately it does not appear that Bill Phillips is represented in RSA anymore, so there is not local competition and we are unable to enter the international or USA one - option not available on line! I am also a Granny and have 3 daughters and one grandchild (2nd one on the way in Aug 08) - all girls! I have been a single parent for the last 15 years and had to bring up my 3 girls without support or help from their father or either family. This was very difficult, but I turned it into a growth opportunity and now run two successful companies in my hometown in Cape Town. I am in my final week of the challenge and its countdown time to D day for me! I look forward to hearing how you made it happen!
