Hi Paul, I have followed your career pretty closely from KOTC to the latest Affliction (congrats on the tremendous performance) PPV. It's nice to see a guy like you (Professional Athlete) taking the transformation challenge. I hope this will guide you down the road to healthier, happier, better you! I have trained MMA for the last fours years on and off and at one point was attempting to begin my career, however bad circumstance later and I have never been in the cage, but I have done many of the workouts for hours every day (twice a day for a long time) and from my perspective my body never got as ripped and toned as I wanted because it was in a constant state of over training. I never had adequate recovery time to deal with the amount of stress I was putting on my body. I really had to adjust my diet (I started following Body For Life) and increasing my caloric intake to see any kind of results. Thats my humble two cents. We're glad you are and pray that you will find what you are looking for!

Mr. Head Hunter,Welcome to the community.  I'm very glad to meet you.  I follow MMA, specially the UFC.  From I what I see you guys do indeed train very hard.  I wonder what you see as a "champions body."  What are the pieces that make the whole?  If it were me I would write down the specifics, body part by body part and then determine the best regimen to develope those areas individually.  If I train very hard just like the other guy it doesn't always work for me.  I have to train very hard for my specific body type and problem areas.  I'm pretty excited about seeing you in the octagon.  The very best of luck to you.  Keep those hands up and your chin down!  -Art

Hey Head Hunter; some questions for you mate;1.What do you really think is holding you back from getting the body you want?2. do you drink beer or other drinks that might add calories3. Whats you diet like - high protein /low fat ?4. Every 2nd or third day do you do cardio5.Do you think your genetic makup is stopping you? I'm a 40 year old ex martial artist that has got his body back to the way I like. Strong and supple is the key and great attention to detail . Your a pro so the answer is in your head - GO and find it and beat it mateMickarooAustralia

Hi Marty, Your videos have been an inspiration to me, especially the struggle with "worthy".  I keep coming back to this and look at how you are making this tremendous change in your life.  Thank you for your great example.

I Am

I am a profesional mixed martial artist who has fought for the UFC and many other organizations. Currently train full-time, fighting is my job. I train very hard and am put through very intense workouts. I train like a champ, but cannot seem to get the body of a champ. Family is, and always has been, first and foremost for me. I have two daughters and two step-sons with my wife of more than eleven years, Stacy. When I first left Texas to train in California, my family was the hardest thing to leave, but they gave me the motivation to keep working and they continue to drive me to be my best. The reason I am a professional fighter is to make my parents proud and to leave a legacy for my children. The American Dream is often been spoken about as a vehicle that motivates people to achieve success. For the last five years, I have been living my version of the dream by steadily climbing up mixed martial arts' highly competitive heavyweight ladder. My story is reminiscent of others who have made life-altering sacrifices in order to reach my goals.
