I choose to!
Not only I choose to but I get to!
Last night I had a friend ask me if I ever wanted to do something with my life. I told her, "I am doing something with my life!" But she didn't see it that way. She was thinking careers and working. Everything I am doing in my life was from my choice! I chose to be married. I chose to have kids and be a mother. I chose to stay home with them. I chose to homeschool my kids. Not only did I choose those things I am lucky because I GET to do all these things!
It made me a little bit sad to have someone think I am not doing anything with my life... but then I have "gotten it" and she hasn't. One day she will get it.

I think the happiest people in life are those that enjoy their space and what they are doing in it. So much has changed for us in the last 10 months. I totally get another sense from you now than I did then....of course I was impressed by you both then too.... ;) shane
Hi Heather...just wanted to pop in to say you are doing the most important work on this earth and sometimes the most difficult. After I had my 2 kids I "got to" be home with them too...it was fun doing with less and being with them. Mine are now 21 (in college)and 23 (graduated and married) but we are so close...friends as well as family. I couldn't be prouder of them or myself in that choice we made years ago. Its the greatest gift you can give them. And one you will never regret. I love that picture of you in front of that mountain..it is beautiful! A fellow Transformer and mother, Susan
