Intentions
Last night during the asanas in yoga class the instructor told us this would be a good time to make intentions for ourselves. She explained an intention was not a goal but an intent to be or do something. To be kinder, more compassionate, more understanding etc....focusing on an intention....acting on the intention...is transformation to a better state and better you. When she said transformation...it just all clicked. Maybe it is because I am more aware or intuitive about things around me....but it seems certain things are just meant to be. The intentions tied into Assignment #8 with the lowest habits for me. I was thinking about my intentions and a sense of calm just passed all through me. We went through various yoga poses and then closed the session again thinking of our intentions.
It was a really good experience for me last night.
I'm so digging yoga.
