Thanks Heather. I know when I had to put my dogs mom down it helped that I had her because it helped me get through the loss of her mom. Unfortunately my friend lives by herself so right now she doesn't have the time for a puppy but Im sure down the road she will get another dog. They are amazing animals. :) ~Shannon
