The good news is, it sounds like the only thing holding you back is yourself but that sounds like the old you and you now see you need and want something better, that's awesome! It will be tough to overcome these bad habits that have got you to this place but the really cool thing is there is more love, support and encouragement here than you can possibly imagine..really. Warm welcomes on this Wednesday evening. I will be here for you no matter what along with so many others. This site is inspiring, and yields all the ingredients needed to start and finish this challenge. One suggestion, look into Bills blog and start your assignments. I can’t tell you how much more fulfilling this journey is when you complete each one. I am almost finishing up week 7 and can tell you that this program is not only helping me regain control of my physical state, but my mental and spiritual side. Again welcome, lets get involved and make 2009 the turning point in our lives!.........Have a purposeful day. LB

I Am

Foremost is my family. Like other families in the US, mine is full of overweight brothers, sisters and parents. Not all of them, or at least not all the time. We have all tried with little success to diet together. I know now after completing 3.5 weeks of my own challange, that the switch needs to come from within. Being an influencing factor to help others in my family strive for success would be the ultimate joy.
But to be honest, the family members I am focused on MOST are my children (3 & 6). I am a 36 y/o dad who is heading full speed toward Diabetes and had already been hospitalized this year with atrial fibrulation. I want to be alive for my daughters' weddings, and long after, I want to be able to take my shirt off on the beach and just look like a regular guy! I want to find the part of me that played Ice Hockey and was competitive in teenage Powerlifting. I can't believe I am the same guy, with the same bones, skin and heart; because I am truly in need of a transformation to save my life. I WILL SUCCEED!

My Favorite Charity

Canine Partners for Life

To me, Transformation Means

A journey, creating, to smile, to be comfortable in clothes and my own skin. To have my body get in tune with the soul inside!

My Goals

Next stop: 50#'s ugly fat loss. Take my shirt off on the beach, with my family this June. Cut down on my cardiac meds.

My Intentions

To get to the other side of the rainbow. To complete a transformation, for the 1st time in my life.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

My mother, my 2 brothers. I have been reluctant to let them in on this my little secret transformation. Soon I hope they will take notice of my gains.
