April 1, 2011 Day #12/126 Week #2/18 Day in review: Isn’t it crazy how time just slips away??? Two weeks have passed in the blink of an eye since I’ve started this challenge…then again I feel like life in general has been that way too. March 31, 2011 Day #11/126 Week #2/18 Day in review: It’s amazing how each day presents the same theme to me: whatever plans that I have made for the day are highly subject to change dependent on the baby! I had planned to go out for a run but she just wouldn’t let me go! There was a lot of nursing, crying, and napping…I think she is having a growth spurt because there is no other reason ...Day 10: Crowded house!
March 30, 2011 Day #10/126 Week #2/18 Day in review: Yay I woke up pain free and feeling better…the infection is gone I think! I feel a bit tired but not enough as to interfere with my day. Today everyone was home…the teenagers, mom, hubby…and my best friend came to visit with her baby. March 29, 2011 Day #9/126 Week #2/18 Day in review: I’m still recovering from mastitis; I feel much better today than I did this past weekend. I don’t have fever and chills today, and my nausea is much better. My son Alex went to a day of spring camp today; the school offers camp during spring break but it is an extra cost. March 8, 2011 Day #8 / 126 Day in review: Still with the infection but I think it’s beginning to improve. I’ve been taking lots of natural remedies (probiotics, vit C, grapeseed extract…), staying hydrated, and getting sleep. March 27, 2011 Day #7/126 Day in review: Slept well and took good care of myself but still have the beginnings of an infection L Had to take a free day today to rest up and make sure that I can feed the baby. My dad and his wife came over to visit, and they watched Isabella for a while. I’m always grateful for some help, and thankful that Isabella is getting older and accepting of others. March 26, 2011 Day #6/126 Day in review: Really happy to see my rest day today, as I am pretty sore from my leg workout. Today was another quiet day spent at the house with the kids. In the afternoon we went for a walk in the neighborhood, feeding the ducks and talking. Saturday evenings are my movie nights with Alex after Isabella goes to sleep, and I enjoyed sitting on the couch with him watching ghost stories ...Day 5: It's finally Friday!

March 23, 2011 Day #3/126 Week #1 Day in review: Today was a big day for me. It wasn’t just that I was on day 3 of my transformation, but rather that I left baby Isabella for the first time since she was born. I left her with my mom and went outside to run. March 22, 2011 Day #2/126 Week #1 Day in review: Well today was a challenge in getting my workout done due to lack of time. Unexpected tasks and a cranky baby kept me from getting my workout done in the am when I had help lined up. I did complete it, but it was at night after Isabella went to bed around 8pm. March 21, 2011 Day #1/126Week #1/18 Day in review: This last month has been really tough for me. I had to step away from my challenge in order to deal with all the family issues that I had as well as a neck injury. Most notably: My anemia resurfaced, and many days I felt just exhausted. The HHC came at the right time for me this year; I was two months past a very difficult pregnancy having gained 65 pounds due to complications. I had also recently lost my job and my maternity benefits that I had been counting on, and my husband and I were dealing with the resulting severe financial difficulties and stress. Day 28 HHC: November 28th, 2010 Reflections: Today was a cranky baby day Oh my, for a three month old my little daughter can sure put the household in an uproar! She is teething and is VERY unhappy, spending much of the day fussing. I did little else except to try to keep her calm and comfortable. Day 27 HHC: November 27th, 2010 Reflections: Today was a super day OK so today I am back out of “holiday mode” and ready to face the day! Saturdays are usually my “get things done” day, albeit with a newborn some days not much gets done...but I try :) Today I worked in the garage again going through boxes and setting aside items to take to Goodwill. Day 26 HHC: November 26th, 2010 Reflections: Today was a quiet day Holidays are great, but it's always a relief when they're over in the sense that one can relax! Thankfully everyone that came to eat also helped clean up, so today everything wasn't a mess. Day 25 HHC: November 25th, 2010 Reflections: Today was a stuffed day Ahhhh.....Thanksgiving day! With the hardships my family has experienced this year we are especially grateful for the little things (like having food to eat). Someone gave us a turkey, which allowed us to buy the rest of the dinner easily. My mom cooked everything, which was a blessing since I have my hands full with the newborn! Day 24 HHC: November 24th, 2010 Reflections: Today was a orange day Wow so it’s the day before Thanksgiving and there are so many little details left to take care of despite my meticulous planning!! Thankfully my mom was here and ran the majority of them before noon time...and then the fun began...my mom, me, baby Isabella, and 10-year old Alex went to a nearby orange grove to pick up the best tasting key lime pie ever :)...HHC Day 23
Day 23 HHC: November 23rd, 2010 Reflections: Today was a unsettled day Today was another day spent away from home...I went back to the hospital to see my best friend who just had her baby yesterday. We stayed several hours to keep her company. She and baby are doing well and will probably go home tomorrow...yay! Baby Isabella has been a little angel today while visiting my friend.
