TIME TO MOVE FORWARD
I love clocks. I have one in almost every room of the house because they seem to finish it off. But it's a big job when the clocks change. I was told it is important to only move clocks forward. So I have a method for that in the fall.
It got me thinking how symbolic that is for moving through life---how important it is to not try to change "backward." The past has some important information in it, but life needs to be lived forward.
I just about drove myself crazy trying to make sense of the past, understand it, determined to learn my lessons from it, but it kept me feeling stuck in the past to a large degree. Life started to feel so much better when I began to live it "looking through the windshield instead of the rear view mirror." Today, I face forward, and consciously aim to stay very present, doing my part in creating the best day possible.
