My Day Three

I have an abundance of energy today!Today I am on the road with my goals at the end of it! This is my favorite road... The "Goal Road". I may take a misguided turn every so often but while here, intend to appreciate it and take a look around. Observing what I'm doing now will help drive me back to "Goal Road" when I miss my turn.Living with awareness and keeping a clear mind is important in keeping my ...

Later is now.--Roseanne BarrWhile it's necessary to plan for tomorrow, it's truly what we do today that paves the way to a positive Transformation.  It's about how we think and how we act (in the moment) and the ability to follow through with tasks, no matter how difficult they seem.As I begin my new Challenge, I will remember these words every day. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays

As the year wraps up, it's a time to reflect on both our successes and our adversities. Our successes build confidence to propel us to our goals, and our adversities are stepping stones to guide us. 2008 brought this awareness to me at a new level. There is always a new door to open even "when" I feel to be at my lowest point AND there is always something to be grateful for... no matter what. We always have the answer, if...

Getting to the highest, "higher self"

We always have the choice to act at our "highest self". We don't always feel the benefits immediately from this higher level but the rewards are greatest in a given time. Many things in life are good examples of this. Perhaps someone is rude to us and we respond gently or when we don't get exactly what we want but wait with patience, or when someone goes against our GREAT ideas and we listen to what they might offer....

Intuition, The Fountain of Our Truth

I wrote a few blogs back about the "New Me" and then not long after, had a very difficult period, leaving me to wonder if I really had changed. The discovery is that the difficulties showed up because I HAD changed. I made some decisions counter to what my beliefs were, causing a miserable feeling and taking me off of my course. This inner voice or intuition just continues to get louder EVERY TIME I make a decision that isn't true ...

Intention or Commitment?

I've thought lately about the immediate gratification that comes with certain things. The eating of a chocolate or the passing on a workout to go shopping. While I've done well and DO see results I realize that I CAN dig deeper and put more effort into my daily routine. Energy creates energy and I'm still not operating at full potential. Mapping out my plan and sticking with it is essential. I want to make Tranformation and will acheive it only if I work hard and focus. When Bill talks of Marty Goldman's transformation he talks about Marty flipping that switch and turning knowledge into act...

Organizing for Success

It's difficult to be clear-minded without organizing things around me.  I went through all my notes and Lessons from BP and organized in notebook. Easy now to re-read and will use highlighter for important points. A great day to take a few bumps out of the road on my Journey to "Be the Change". I will keep it handy to review daily.Have a Beautiful Sunday my friends!~Blessings~...

Can We Be CLEAR about this?

Every day I find it challenging to eat right and workout and notice that keeping my mind clear and straight is a huge help. Clutter takes me off the path to my transformation. Interaction with others can move me forward or hold me back and I want to be sure to be clear to avoid clutter. I choose "forward".How I operate on a daily basis is key for getting what I need and for achieving what I want. When I'm feeling fi...

Are You Serious????

Often I'm far too serious... This is no laughing matter! Feeling this way makes life harder and I"m confined in my "serious" box. I can feel it between my eyes  (ICK!) I don't prefer to take myself so seriously.. who is this person who lives in me and where did she come from? On the other hand, I LOVE levity and I LOVE laughing and smiling and being free of all the stuff that causes me to become serious. There IS a t...

Imagine

I just pictured in my mind what I wanted to do.You can use that formula for accomplishing anything in life. ~Ida Bellegarde The imagination is a powerful tool. With practice we can perfect our use of it and the results will astound us. Research has shown that athletes who visualize a practice session on the field or mountain or course hone their skills as effectively as those who practice "in the flesh" This may be hard to believe,...

The LOOK of Love

I am working daily on changing my behavior when hearing what someone says that offends me or a look that sends me to a very unproductive place and closes the door to what I most want. This old behavior keeps me stuck and unable to meet both the mental and physical Transformation I desire. The past few months the feeling of this emotional adversity has become key to recognizing the behavior I wish to change.Just the fact that I AM recogni...

Magic of Today

Why is it that some days are so easy from the start and some just never "click"? Today is an "easy" day. I feel light and free spirited. Happy and alive and grateful as can be. To Tame my EGO

I have a favorite little book titled "Manifest Your Destiny" by Wane Dyer, which I keep handy and below is a paragraph that helps keep me more peaceful and aware of what's most important. Especially when feeling the need to argue my position....Give up your need to be right and win in favor of being kind and you will soon know the bliss of inner peace. Remember, it is your highest self that only wants peace. When you are practicing kind...

I didn’t realize, until recently, how the last two almost three years had taken me away from people and things I love.  Looking at my photo from 2005 I see a strong and lively person.  This Transformation site/forum is so effective because of the lessons we participate in which bring us ultimately (if we keep at it) to face personal truths.  Photos tell a story, and as I see others transform and the energy flowing ...

A Little Angel Goes a Long Way

My mother is the warmest person I have ever known. Her biggest fault is that she believes “All you need is love”.  She is my hero, after all, I’m not sure who could love and be married, for 60 years, to a man as cranky and opinionated as my father. So bless her soul that she picked her mate and stuck through the good and bad with him. She loves him and takes care of him and protects him from anyone who thinks he is not wort...

It’s a silly fear and probably is just about the way they look and that they appear around me when I least expect them. Naturally, I try to stay away from these 8 legged creat...
