The New Me
I am feeling balanced lately.. Eating clean and working out regularly. My biggest challenge and change has been to be the director of my own life. I have been far too sensitive to opinions of others and this has been taking me away from fulfilling my own dreams and goals. I have taken big steps in learning how to grow strong in this area.
We all have a right to be our own person. I have let others take charge because of the fear I had in either making a mistake or wanting to please. This was a learned behavior and often I wondered how to change it. I've worked on it for several years. Sometimes I felt the need to just go away and start new. Not sue what that meant but I knew it was not the healthiest choice. Facing the truth can be pretty tough but when we allow ourselves to be honest and look at it head-on, is when we make progress.
I've learned that I CAN make my life anyway I design it. And, I've learned anything is possible with love and trust for myself and with love and compassion for others. Now, I can go forward with confidence and make choices that are not hindered with anger and resentment. I do not have to hold anyone responsible and have learned something quite valuable. This is the new me and now that I "get it" will always understand how to stay in this peaceful place. Honest and true to myself.

Fabulous! It is so liberating to become aware of the impact of pleasing other or allowing them to dictate the direction of your life. Just immagine what the future is going to bring! I am proud of you!
This is one GREAT post Kath! You are such a beautiful person on so many levels and this ability to see that beauty in yourself (and live comfortably and confidently within it) is, as you said, the biggest transformation of all.
