Thanksgiving, Christmas

These 2 holidays are packed with cooking, sugar, fat and all those other things that are so bad for our body.  I love them still and have no problem eating them for one day, but what do all of you mom's that have done this for years do on these special days?  Are you just so strong it's no longer a tempation on the day after?  Or, do you ???

Holidays such as this can serve as a free day where you can enjoy the event guilt free. However, I do like to tell people to maybe eat more veggies and turkey and less of the high-sugar/carb entrees. For me this just helps prevent a very bloated feeling which I personally do not enjoy. If I pace myself enough I can enjoy the meal and plenty of dessert and not feel like I've overdone it. As for the day after...depends on where I am..In my case I'll be with my family in a very rural area...I'm sure I'll be enjoying leftovers in moderation while being mindful of what I'm doing. Most importantly...enjoy the precious time you will get to spend with family and friends.
