Anger, Frustration and Feeling Unwanted!!

WOW!!  Surprised I just can't believe how anger, frustration, etc.............................. can make you have a much better workout.  I work hard during my workouts, but last nights was above that!!  I was tired and didn't think that it was going to be a very good workout, but WOW was I wrong!

I am a bit down with myself this morning, because the alarm went off and I turned it off, was ready to get up and fell back to sleep!! Yell   I won't be able to get to the gym later either.  Sometimes life throws us curve balls and it is what we do with them that counts.  I will be making this workout up when I do my UBWO on Friday!!  Moving forward and not gonna stress about it, I have already beaten myself up as much as I can!! 

I just love working out and just need to be sure that I am getting enough sleep or else this is what happens!  With my daughter having CREW and having to be up and out of the house by 5:30 is rough!  She is officialy done with the summer program and will start the FAll program in September I think!!  Since it is during school hours, the practices will be after school.  I will be a Crazy Taxi Driver then, two of my three boys will be playing football and they practice after school also.  Thank God I have my hubby's parents here to help out with the rides.

Looking forward to having a great, strong, KIS day!!  I need to plan my meals for next week!  I find that if I Fail to Plan then I am Planning to Fail!!  I WILL NOT FAIL!!  I need to get out some of my cookbooks and look through them and of course go through the EFL book and make some of those recipes also!!

Looking for some new ideas for lunch, so if any of you can help me out, that would be great!!  I don't mind eating the same thing day after day, but once in a while, it needs to be changed up!!

Weldonba ~ Thanks I am!! Yes I agree to that one!! That isn't what made me feel unwanted, it was a good friend who has decided that I am not "good" enough anymore and has moved on to bigger and better friends!! I shouldn't let this bother me, but I did and now I am moving on!! Thanks to all of the wonderful friends here, my spirits have been lifted!! You are such a sweetheart, thank you!! Hey my dear friend! There are bound to be bad days and you'll be back "on your game" very quickly! ! I'm sure it must be hard when you have to drive others around and be committed to them. After all 4 kids is no easy task! My energy has been really up and I think it's due to just picking one thing out of each group in the Body for Life book. Add some seasonings and good to go! When I think of lunch I think MEAL IN BOWL.. It's my 1,2,3 easy as PIE method! Also, the women who have kids were discussing what they do and how they do their best to be efficient with their time.. "STRNGRLZ" group. OK Tink.. Tomorrow.. TINK in the PINK :) Love you lots.

Di, yea, you should be done beating yourself up. You must have needed the sleep and stressing about it won't make you any healthier. Let it go, smile, and set your sight on next time. Question? Hello gloomraider ~ Yes last night was cardio and today is lowerbody!! That is true, I have done my leg workout at home, but I have misaligned knees and have to be careful of what exercises I do, or I am sore for the rest of the week!! Wow, those Deep Knee Bends sound painful, I don't know if I would be able to walk the next day. I will try them out, thanks. My youngest son would work great for all of the exercises. He could be my weights!! LOL!! I will have to make the time today to get that workout in, thanks again!! Today is a really in and out, busy day!! Have a great, strong, KIS day!

Hi Di ! I'm assuminhg, if I'm reading your post right, that last night was a cardio workout and that today's is due to be a lower body workout ? If that is indeed the case, don't let your inability to get to the gym prevent you from getting a workout in. Here's a few suggestions for leg exercises you can do at home, without weights, rather than miss out on a workout ... Deep Knee Bends Strengthens thighs, glutes, hips and is great for endurance. With your feet about shoulder width apart, grab on to the edge of a sink (or something that will give you support) and while looking up slowly bend your knees and lower until your butt is just about touching the floor. Slowly standup again using only your legs to lift you, keep your heels on the floor and do as many as you can. For variation you can place your feet wider or closer together, or do them one leg at a time. Calf Raises Do them on steps, put your toes on the edge of a step and hold on to something for balance (if using stairs in the home, hold onto the rails, post or whatever). Lower your heels to get a good stretch, then raise up on your toes as high as you can, lower and repeat for as many as you can. For variation try them in the squatted down position or one leg at a time. Or you can use some additional weight. *For weight - you don't need to use dumbells or plates. Think about wearing a backpack with some heavy books in it, put one of your kids on your shoulders or use one limb at a time, as suggested above.
