Day 78 - here I am beginning week 11

Day 51! Still going strong!

I can't believe I have made it this far, and yet in a way, I do because I am so on it!  What am I like today, 51 days later?  Well, to date, I have lost 9 pounds, which works out to about 1 1/4 pounds a week!  I fit into almost all the clothes in my closet again (all but four pairs of pants). Most tops fit me better too, but my a few are still a little too tight- however, I can wear most of them.I eat very, very healthfully al...

Day 30! I can't believe I made it this far...and yet, it feels right too.

Well, it is day 30 today for me; here is what I notice so far:I've lost about 5 1/2-pounds  On my home scale in the morning I started on day one at 172 pounds, and this morning, on day 30, I weighed 166.4 lbs.  I am only 5'2", so I started about 47 pounds over my "ideal" body weight.  My goal weight is 125 to 130 pounds.All of my clothes fit me better and differently- my pants are longer and fold under my h...

Had a slip Saturday Night-

Well, I Had a slip- Saturday Night, we were watching a movie and I started eating sour gummy worms- I was just gonna try one, well... a bag later and I am feeling bad.  I think in my mind I was justifying the candy by saying it was almost Sunday, which has been my free-day up until now.  I had also fallen asleep earlier and missed a meal, so I think that also contributed to the craving just before the slip.  So, for the next m...

At the gym, someone asked me how I was able to run for so long on the treadmill! Can you believe it!

Great day today!

I had a great day today- it started really well- even thought I was tired, I got up walked, walked hard, jogged, and ran, hitting all four peaks!  I ate well, all six meals, and then even went biking in the evening with my husband and kids for about 45 minutes.  I keep wanting overnight success... patience is a virtue, I know, I know...but for now I am grateful for these points:I have eaten a very healthy diet for nearly 20 days (I...

Freedom, space to heal, and planning for success!
