Day 78 - here I am beginning week 11
Wow, again, I am so amazed that I have made it this far! Well, here is all my progress:
I have lost 13 pounds (started at 172, now I weight 159lbs)
I went from a pant size 14/16 to a size 10/12
Everything in my closet fits me
I have lost 5 inches off my waist in one month
I can jog for 20 minutes without stopping
I can spin class for an hour
I eat healthy every day except free day
I have gone from lifting 10 pounds per arm for biceps to 15 pounds ea!
I have inspired three of my friends to exercise with me
I journal every week and usually every day or couple of days (I have fallen into a rythmn that is pretty similar each day)
I know what I am going to eat every day and I do not "fret" over meals
I do not feel out of control about food
I caught myself walking into the kitchen on a stressfull day, not hungry, and laughed when I realized what an addictive/negative habit I had been involved in previously. Now I am working on a new "spot" to walk to when I feel stressed, because I realize I was a stress eater and don't want to continue that habit anymore
I still look forward to working out because each workout = closer to my transformed body
I know I have 6 more weeks on this round and will definitely need to do one more round, but I am actually psyched about it and feeling good about it, like I did when I had a year left in college- the end seems attainable and real
My husband tells me he has noticed that I am a happier person since I have been on the program
He also tells me I look a lot healthier/wonderful
I feel proud of myself because even when I have had very, very long stressful days, I stuck to my
"emergency" plans and was able to continue eating healthfully and exercise routinely with all my peaks
