Linda, Soooo glad to see you here!  Haven't talked to you in a while.  How is life "on the edge?"  I hope that you are doing great and things are getting settled one way or another.  Let me know!  Love ya, Leiana.

I Am

I am a proud mom of 2 fabulous kids. I am a child of God aspiring to live the life I was called to live - and am called to be a blessing others. My two kids are examples to ME. In September '07 my outstanding son was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 1. I was knocked off my path. At 20 years old he LIVES the BFL lifestyle and is an inspiration to me and all. His doctor said that he has never seen anyone bounce back like he has or have a 5.3 A1C glucose reading ever, let alone 6 months after diagnosis. He has changed his college major to Nutritional Sciences - He is my hero! My daughter is joining me on a Pilgrimage in July '08 - she is another of my heros in her short but awesome tenure on this earth! God is good! I learned of BFL in 1997. I did my first 12 weeks after reading about our local Champion, Tom Archipley. I repeated a challenge in 2007 after another of our local Champs, Mike Harris was honored. Life got in the way and I took some steps backward. I am back stronger than ever. Spiritually I am on fire, and ready to blaze new trails.

My Favorite Charity

American Diabetes Association

To me, Transformation Means

Shedding the layers of negative thinking and finding and living my Joy.

My Goals

Complete the 18 week challenge. Lose 30 lbs of fat, renew my spirit, and energize my soul & body. . . and influence once soul at a time.

My Intentions

Provide encouragement to those around me. We are all called - but few answer. In humility and faith I want to help more and more answer their call, by finding their Joy.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

Anyone I come in contact with - it starts in my home - with my family - and spreads.
