End of Week 9

It's hard to believe that I hit the half-way mark already!  Whew!  The week wasn't without its rough spots, though.  Saturday morning was spent at the funeral of my "sister" Jennie's father, a Detroit police detective (God rest his soul).  We were without heat until Tuesday evening, so it was tough to drink all that cold water.  I spent Friday afternoon in the ER with severe chest pains because I pulled a muscle (although I thought I was having a heart attack), so I missed my exercise for the first time and was told by the doctor to lay off it for this week as well.  I "cheated" for the first time, too, and ate some chocolate on a day that was not my free day.  Enough of the complaining, though!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I was grateful for the beautiful day spent with my in-laws, the delicious meal, and watching Alex have so much fun playing with his cousin Avery Elizabeth.

I guess stress got the better of me for a bit.  Time to get back to it...  Progress, not Perfection!
