Weeks 12 & 13

As my son lays screaming in the next room, I know why things have been so incredibly out of whack the past two weeks - they've just been so HECTIC, even my baby boy is feeling it!  I've fallen off the wagon, taken my eye off the ball, whatever saying would be appropriate, and am sooooo loo...

That's great your husband is on board too. Our whole family is eating better. Last year my wife lost 95 lbs. on Weight Watchers. I tried it some-what, but just never got into the program. What I really enjoy in the workout program along with eating right. Also, that free day is nice on this program. Mine is more or less a free meal once a week. Thus far I have dropped 16 lbs in the 10 weeks and I feel great. I was hard at first. I get up at 5:00 to head off to the gym. It took to almost week 6 for me to start to feel the extra energy. It was funny the first week (#1) was great. Work on the excitement of something new. Week two hit and I began to feel this sucks. Week#3, Yah, I am sure this sucks. This went into week 4 and 5. By week 6 I felt this really isn't so bad. Now I think I would miss not going. One thing that helped me was to make a few friends at the gym. That way we are all in pain together and still having a good time. Good luck with the shopping ... oh ya, would you pick up a quart of cottage cheese for me (lol). Have a good day. John

Hi Lori- That's great get that shopping done. Are you going to be using Bill's cookbook? Both my wife and I were very pleased just how good the food tastes. Last night we had the Greek Chicken Pita. Again it was good. What really has helped me was eating the six meals. I do use a protein shake for two of the meals. If you have any questions I will be happy to answer. -John

I Am

A Mom on a Mission! Eighteen days after my 40th birthday I gave birth to my one and only child - a beautiful baby boy. Now, 2-1/2 years later, I'm heavier than I've ever been and imposing my inactive lifestyle on my son. That needs to change - NOW - and I fully intend to do so (with lots of help! :D )

My Favorite Charity

Many...

To me, Transformation Means

A complete make-over - inside and out!

My Goals

My weight goal is to become lighter by shedding 110 pounds of nasty, unhealthy fat; more than anything, I want to love and care for myself so that I can love and care for others.

My Intentions

I intend to follow Bill's steps to transformation because I want to Be the Change! I purchased BFL several years ago, started the program and saw some good results, then for whatever reason I stopped. I intend to follow through this time. I need to!

Who I'd Like to Inspire

First and foremost, my sister and my step-Dad. If I can inspire them to make positive changes in their lives, it will be such a blessing! I would be proud to be considered an inspiration to anyone, though.
