Is "Food as Fuel" a Good Strategy, or is it "Fuelish?"

I see it a lot, the saying on the guestbooks, the message boards and the forums that "You have to start looking at food as fuel or you will always have problems with the recommended diet." WIth all due respect to those who advocate this strategy, I think it is flawed and that it simply won...

Hi Mike! Hope all is well with you in beautiful Michigan. I have to tell you...I have my whole gym eating tuna made with peach yogurt after I brought that to one of my classes to show how to substitute unhealthy Mayo with fat-free light yogurt! Take care...~Leiana

Yoda, just dropping by to say hello and thank you for all your blogs! ;) Blessings to you and yours! I just want to add...thanks for being who you are and making the choices you've made to bring you to the place you are today. God really knew I needed an Uncle Mike, an adult in my life that I could look up to and admire. I've had to act like "the adult" in my family since I was a kid. So, thank you; many of us needed you...and here you are. Thanks for letting me call you Yoda. :)

Hi Mike, Just noticed that one of your goals is to become a better "time manager."  If you haven't already, check out "Getting Things Done" by David Allen.  I've done quite a bit of reading in this area and this is the best i've run across yet.  Or give me your address and i'll ship you a brand new copy, never opened (received it as part of a seminar i attended but i already had the book). Matt
