A Year in Review

It has to be said that the last 365 days have been nothing short of an adventure.  A year ago, I woke up, looked in the mirror and thought to myself, "Wow.  You've got to change." My 39th year started off with the same kind of laziness that my 38th year ended with.  I

Healing

Hey=) Yes I have def been welcomed, and I'm really excited to be able to communicate with others that are going through transformations as well. Also, just surrounding myself with happy, full-of-life people really helps me want to take on the world. Anyhow, hope you are having a great week.

Hi Keith - saw the let's-blog post in No Excuses and decided to visit. Love all your pix - my son has a bearded dragon, Puff, and is getting a ball python (Monty) this week. Of course they live at his dad's - I don't do reptiles!! I was also AMUSED by your "snowstorm" pix! Then I saw where you live. I used to live in Winston-Salem, and remember how there was 1 plow for the entire city. Living now in Maine, I know what a real snowstorm is and LOVE them! They are much better with roads here - plows are everywhere. I, too, am a teacher, but have been having difficulty finding work here. I don't want to move, so trying other things to be able to stay in Maine...love your before/after pix - great job! I'll check back later this week on your blog - thanks for putting that out there to the group. Liz

I Am

A vibrantly healthy 40-year-young man who has a whole new lease on life due to Transformation.

My Favorite Charity

Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina

To me, Transformation Means

What is transformation? Sure it's a change in physical appearance, but that is only the superficial result of something that is most certainly far deeper in nature. Anybody can change their body with a a measure of focus. It takes a far greater dedication to realize that there are reasons that a physical transformation is actually necessary.A true transformation is physical, psychological, and spiritual in nature. It transcends our understanding of self and draws out of us those things which heretofore were unknown, repressed, or intentionally ignored. The truly transformed individual looks at the past image of himself or herself only to say, "That is not me. I am not that person now." And they never return to that state.

My Goals

My goals now include: to reach out to as many others as I can in order to share the benefits of Transformation, to continue my studies in Isshinryu Karate to the point of earning my black belt, to continue on the Transformation path through regular workouts and good nutrition, to be the best father I can be to my four wonderful children, and to be the husband my wife didn't have for the first 15 years of our marriage.

My Intentions

I intend to live life to the fullest.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

My wife. My children. My parents. My sister. My coworkers, friends, and anyone who, at "mid-life" thinks that they are too physically far-gone to change.
