Olivia - Welcome to the transformation - you are in for an amazing experience. Congratulations on beginning the journey of sobriety - I was 24 years old when I got sober and am now 44, it is possible! I believe that God is the answer to all of my problems today, to me He is everything. It sounds like you are locked in with some good people and if you are anything like Bobby you are reading the Big Book which will unlock a lot of things for you and set you free. If you every need support or need clarification on the Big Book I am always available, I have more experience with that than weight transformation and I am here for you. The promises do come true!
