Chicago Transformers Meeting

Yesterday was a cold but beautiful day, my wife and I were able to attend the Chicago Transformers meeting at the Rec Plex. It was a great turn out. We were able to meet Leiana and her husband Kris, Mae and her sister Sandy and her daughter, Jan and her daughter, Rich, Ken and his family, Richard (architectguy) Frank (FMG) , Richie Rich, Mighty Marty, and Norma and Dr. Dave. It turned out some of the other members couldn't make it but that's okay we will meet soon enough.

It was an awesome time, we shared and laughed with each other. We ate subway sandwiches and all kinds of healthy sides and Mae made some healthy awesome brownies!! Marty of course provided the Right Shakes with his Mighty Magic Bullet LOL. It's great when us transformers can get together and share our stories and have a grand ole time!

I know some of us were looking forward to Leiana's workout but because of policy we could not maybe next time huh?! But after the fellowship we had Marty decided that we should all workout together so the ladies went and worked with Leiana and Marty had a couple of the men but I decided to workout with Ken and Richie Rich, although I should have stuck it out with the older men cause Ken whipped my behind but I had a great time though. Well, afterwards some of the members had left but the rest decided to go back home or to the hotels and shower and change and we could meet up for some grub. We all decided to meet at the Rain Forest in Gurnee Mills, it was a great place to eat at!! We were able to meet Ken's children and his lovely wife. I right away fell in love with his son Anthony he is so loveable and cute!! LOL

It was funny cause the waitress came and asked if we wanted appetizers and all of said in union NO we just want our order cause we were all starved...Ha Ha Ha

It was fun eating dinner and having great fellowship with one another, of course we all ate healthy until I decided to mess it up by ordering a volcano fudge mountain with brownies and iceream and carmel. The waitress brought extra plates and spoons and I made everyone well, I ask if they would share in this dessert and we all did together. Of course we have pictures of Mighty Marty and Ken and me eating the dessert. So it was an awesome awesome time. I think the best was when the waitress came up and asked what was going on if we were all related and we said no but yes, no we weren't related but yes we are family because of a bond that we share. So it gave me the opportunity to tell her about Transformation.com and Mae had written down for her so she wouldn't forget and then Marty did the rest. It was awesome to see this waitress Lynn just eat it all up. I think we will see her here some time soon.

I was telling Marty it would be a great idea if we could all have transformation shirts or sweatshirts with Bill's logo on it it would be a great witnessing tool. Anyways.

So lynn the waitress had said she noticed the light shining from all of us and was wondering why? That's when it opened the door for us to share what we had accomplished through Bill Phillips and the Transformation site.  So it was all kool!! So as the end drew near we said our goodbyes and exchanged numbers and took tons of pictures, we all hugged each other and said we will see each other again very very soon.

Being able to meet one onother from different areas is an awesome thing. I learned that being on this site we all share a unique bond, a goal to be attained and most of all the sweat and tears we share with one another will always bridge the gap between us all. I love each and everyone of you and it has been an honor to share my transformation with you.
