Michael Phelps wins his Seventh Gold this Olympics!
Just watched Michael Phelps win his seventh gold medal this olympics! He is now tie with Mark Spitz! I saw Michael the week before he left Ann Arbor for Bejing, he looked determined! I didn't approach him as he looked like he was saying good bye to our city and his home for the past few years at The Univeristy Of Michigan. I have been staying up nights watching him and others but especially to see him go for this feat. I love the Olympics it is inspirational to me and my teenagers. I am sure many here also are into it and get that same inspirational message that I do. Commitment, determination, and desire, hard work get us from where we are to where we want to be. I am going swimming tomorrow while the weather is still warm here!

Hey Racewalker the fellow Zooman who left you a comment is going for the gold on the Transformation swimming team :) Lol He loves to swim though!! I am so impressed seriously how 1 man can be better then everyone else That has to be a God givenn talent and a huge determination from the indivual! I have experienced something similar when i gave my all for the 18 weeks Michael had to do that in his practices and every single race He is a true champion who I admire! Marty
Yes me too she won a silver last night at 41 ! She rocks!
The swimming has been so incredible. And Dana Torres, wow, what more can be said about her! I guess since I've gotten into swimming this past couple of months I have really been focused on those events.
Update! Torres the 41 year old female swimmer just advanced to the finals in the 50 m freestyle she came in first! Lets here it for women over forty! It's never too late!
very cool! my daughter was watching the opening ceremonies and said "those people are amazing! they are the most determined, focused people on the planet" all that work...all the efforts...all the right choices made at the right times....all the bad temptations that were avoided....simply because they let their GOAL sit in front of them day and night. sounds kinda like us here....champions in our own way, eh?
He's AMAZING! Very nice you were able to see him before he left.. How proud we are of him!
