I Am

I am a 48 year old woman, blessed to be living on beautiful Scarborough Beach in Western Australia. My husband Neil (OzSwimmer) and I completed BFL challenges in 2000 and 2001. He was in the Aussie semi-finals for his age group - I am so proud of him! We truly believed we would continue BFL for the rest of our lives - and have tried many times since then to get back on track - but we now know we "changed" on the outside without "transforming" on the inside. I care so much about Neil and want us both to know once again the pride and excitement we felt at our earlier achievements.

Dear ScarbyDancer, Hello, I hope you are having a beautiful end of winter weekend Down Under! Its going to be a beautiful end of summer weekend here. Do I have that right? Its almost like a parallel universe the fact that we are in two completely different seasons. Highschool football (gridiron) starts today for my son, the first game of the year--Friday night lights--should be fun! Thankyou so much for thinking about me--the power of a Down Under T-friend is truly amazing! Cheers! Grace

Scarby, you can be that dancer! You just need to believe and have faith in yourself. Make the decision, "Be the Change!". You are definitely in the right place!

Hey, Dustyluv, thanks so much for being my T-Friend! I, and all your other friends in this community, are thinking about you out there "on the road", sending you positive "you can do it!" energy.

My Favorite Charity

Oxfam

To me, Transformation Means

Being at peace with myself so that I can interact peacefully with others. (1) My actions become congruent with my values in every area of my life. (2) Honouring my self-promises becomes my way of life. (3) Achieve and maintain the balance between accepting myself totally for who I am - and striving always to overcome my weaknesses.

My Goals

This isn't very specific, I know, but my only goal at present is: to feel at peace with myself, knowing my behaviour is congruent with my values. I want to feel this way when we celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary in Tahiti in September.

My Intentions

Practise meditation daily. Practise new patterns: feeling at peace, smiling, laughing, being happy. Forgive myself. Shed the guilt. Dance more. Relax more. Relish my life.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

My husband (OzSwimmer). I love to see him filled with the pride and energy he exudes all day after a High Point workout. My brother, who has recently joined the ever-growing number of people diagnosed with adult-onset diabetes.
