I am happy to report...
...that, although I broke my promise to Shane about not weighing in except every 2 weeks or better yet, every 4 if I can help it (turned out I couldn't help it... HA HA!) and being a little disappointed in myself about that... I have GOOD news.
As of this morning, I'm down 3 pounds for the week, half a pound overall and half a percent of bodyfat!!
So far...
Start: 270# & 45% body fat (scary, huh?)
End of unofficial week 1: 272.5# & 45% body fat
End of official week 1: 269.5# & 44.5% body fat (as I'm writing this I'm thinking You're sure it was 44.5 the scale said and not 45.5%? Nope. 44.5!)
Not too shabby, considering all the little cheats in my diet and the undeniable fact that I could still be putting in much more effort to my cardio and haven't found my 10 point for all my muscle groups yet.
I've been smiling and giggled and literally dancing around all morning with joy. I think I may be wearing on The BF's nerves a bit, but he's happy for me all the same. Maybe soon he'll start taking me up on my daily invitation to join me?

Drop the scale, drop the cheats, pick up the cardio and the giggling and dancing is going to transform into hysterically laughing as you soar high propelled by unexplainable joy. Keep on rollin!!! (Tammy got me into the use of that motivating phrase with her video. :) Congratulations on your successful week; I can't imagine what these next one's will like now that you have your game face on. ;)
WHOOO HOOOO good job.... NOW take that success and lets make a solid week and weigh in again 7 days from today DEAL???
