Shane's post

I cured myself

For the last several weeks I have been craving peanut butter.  I drive down the road and my mouth waters all I need is a spoon of JIF with peanuts.  I got that organic junk but it tastes yuck O.  I have been having a little peanut butter on free days and it just keeps getting worse.  So like Bill says in BFL I can only eat so many Krispy Kremes before I get sick.  Aversion therapy right?   Sooo yesterday I wanted to excorcise the peanut butter demon.

I had peanut butter granola for breakfast, a peanut butter and honey sandwhich ( let the honey soak into the bread mmmm) some regular peanut butter on a spoon, had a nice headache by 1 pm...

But I kept at it Georgeann made  me a dozen peanut butter cookies... one raw cookie dough ball.... and I think I got about 6 cookies down before I ended up in bed.... RAGING HEADACHE sick bleeeech....8pm goodnight freeday LOL

Woke up Monday morning IM BACK... someone mentions the word peanut butter I will hurt them  :)

I dont want it, I dont know if I will ever again ... oh wait my mouth is beginning to water when I think about the creamy, crunchy, salty ohhhh   LOL

I am a man in Transformation and I choose to be a better person..  ( this story might have been dramatized in certain instances but I am living life and find joy and humor in all things)

PB & Honey that is totally awesome, I used to eat that always when I was in Prison and still do from time to time.

I totally agree with the aversion therapy theory. I once flew across the country on a series of flights that started at dawn and went to the red-eye. No meals were served just the same little bags of peanuts. This was for the entire day. Little bags of peanuts when you boarded, when it was time for a snack, when it was time for a meal, it was like Groundhog Day with little bags of peanuts. I began to get a headache, my sunny disposition was fading, I was beginning to feel cranky. Now whenever I get on a plane and the attendant comes by handing out little bags of anything I politely decline.

Nutter Butter Cookies Shane? I like the natural stuff, but it's one of those things I've been able to leave behind and not crave. Now Dark Chocolate, that's a whole nuther story. Can't wait for that to be a thing of the past.....well obviously I can. lol

Hey Shane good thing you didn't steal Beau's Doggie treats that are PB flavored. I bet you would have been done right then and there. But you had to do it the hard way and get a headache lol. I always try to find the humor in things as well.
