Silly's post
Better Thank a Cheerleader
I think for some of us, blogs are like a journal, where we can open up, gush profusely about things that please us, and whine a bit when life is handing us lemons, and we expect to be able to do both without judgement.
And, I think for others, a blog is like ... a presentation. A learning tool, carefully penned and crafted, and always positive.
And, I think there's room for both kinds here on T.com.
Most of the time, we are working toward the next "high point", be it a lower pant size or faster run time. We are continually striving for a personal best. Which is really cool! Think about how different we are here; so much of society is stagnant, or slipping toward a new low point, daily. We are making progress. We are climbing UP.
Being constantly striving, continually stepping UP, it's natural that we feel less than ecstatic during plateau's: those extended in-between times - when we aren't really going up anymore, but working just as hard, only to maintain the horizontal. When progress is painfully stubborn, it's normal to feel gloom looming, ominous, downright FRUSTRATED.
If I didn't have this place to come and share my frustrated, plateau-thinking, I might have nowhere to put it, I'd have nobody telling me to:
"Hang in there!",
"You'll be stepping UP again any day!",
"You can do this!"
Without such a cheering section, ... it would be easy to see no light at the end of the tunnel and just give up. Because my T-pals shored me up a few times now, I'm still here, making progress - or at least not goiing backwards - every single day, for 87 straight days.
So, let's hear it for the T.com cheerleaders!
Gimme a 'T'...!

I'm giving ya a high five! I just read your comment on Bill's Blog about The Four Agreements. What a great gift for the day that was. I just referred it to two more people yesterday. It definitely changes lives and in addition to Bill's Transformation will create the change we wish to see in the world. I've been teaching them to my kids in hopes that it will free them from getting caught up in so much drama that we create with our words and interpretations. Aren't they GREAT. So glad to see someone else talking about them. Now...I'm going to go have a GREAT workout and start creating a fabulous weekend. Thanks for the BOOST
Not sure what letter I am suppose to put next. Never been a great speller. LOL Hallelujah for spell check!! Anyway, I'm glad you're here. -- Lisa
