How big are your dreams?

Last night I finished Rena's book, The Soul Salon. She gave me an autographed copy last year. I was finally able to finish it. I enjoyed the book and it challenged me on several levels. To let go of past hurts and always look at people and situations out of a place of compassion and love. One of the biggest challenges I got from the book came unexpectedly. She asked us to create a list of 100 dreams/goals. Pshhhaaww..I can do that..right??

Umm...well it was a little harder than I thought. I actually had to ponder that for a good 2 weeks. I could easily start my list with silly materialistic things...but I wanted to go deeper into what my dreams were...that's where I got stuck. My dreams?? clearly I've been too busy being a wife/mom etc and my dreams have not been important as my focus is on my family. Asking me to stop and think about myself and articulate what I really want..well frankly it was/is hard.

After some time though I did actually get a list started and was able to put some items on this list that will help me break free from some pre-conceived barriers and reach new personal bests. I believe these will help make me a better, happier, and more balanced person. As I work on reaching these goals I'll share a bit more with you all along the way.

Of course one of the items on the list is completing this half-marathon next saturday. I'll get to mark that as complete off my list.

How about you?? could you sit down and come up with a list of 100 dreams/goals for yourself?? Could you come up with even 20?? 10??? I struggled to get up to 20..now I'm at 26 items on the list. I still have some thinking to do..obvioulsy I'm not thinking big enough!
