TREAT CONTROL and WHAT TO DO WITH FOOD DERAILMENT.

This is a response I sent to MEMA (Kathi) after she submitted her e-mail to me at the bottom.  You can read hers first at the bottom or understand that this is a response to it when you get there.

I Am

Who am I? What do I care about?

I am a healthy wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, grandmother who is inspired by others. I like to be challenged and take them seriously and work more towards perfection than not. I am learning that progress is more important than perfection as it is the crossroads between learning and thinking you know it all.

I believe that in all the good that we do that there is no finish line. Once we reach the first finish line, it's time to find the next one and conquer it whether it be in our fitness challenge or our life's challenges.

If I am not challenged, I find I have no purpose. I care about my family but my health comes first. I have learned that without our health we can be of little service to others. As I get older, physical strength is a necessity and the definition is the bonus gift we receive.

If I am not fit, I am not happy. Working out is a stress reliever for me and elevates my happy endorphines. I find that when I don't workout that I am not as fulfilled feeling. When I do workout, I have energy, I feel accomplished, and I feel that the rest of the day is mine to tackle.

I care about having unity in my family and continue to learn new coping skills as my adult children get older and as I get older. We all change as our lives change and different situations arise. I care about fixing the wrong things in my life and working towards a goal of peace in my life.

I care about teaching others to be healthy, how to read labels, and educate them on form and technique. I have learned from the best and as Bill, I would love to see everyone understand how important being healthy plays in their life and happiness.

I care about being alive again and looking to the future to make a difference in many small ways.

THERE IS NO FINISH LINE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>
I just love this saying because Round 1 is just the transition to Round 2. Although we reach a goal at the end of the 18 wks, there is no finish line . . . only a new starting line that awaits us.
To me, Transformation Means
The HHC was my defining few months on Transformation. The short goal was like an interval and I blew my physical workouts through the roof, set new goals, started running, and challenging myself to step outside the box. I make sure that each workout counts and that I never just go through the motions. I mentally gear up which gives me focus. I believe a woman's day or most women's days start with the mirror and the search for clothes. All my friends, all my family, anyone I know wants to look in the mirror and look good in their clothes or feel good in their skin. I used to wake up and as soon as the sunrise hit my windows, I would dread picking out clothes to cover my fat which influenced my attitude for the entire day. Now I wake up and can't wait to see what fits and feel good that I am fit. It's not about looking good in my clothes anymore or covering my fat, it's about presenting a healthy look to inspire others. I like coming upon 53 years old and knowing that I took on this challenge with dedication both mentally and physically and stuck with it since last January. My last year birthday was miserable, but the decision I made to give myself the best birthday gift by starting will make this years goal defining day a great birthday for me. Attitude, Happiness, Fulfillment, Strive, Challenge, Drive, Diligence, Dedication, Completion, Satisfaction, Lighthearted, Hope, and losing all those things I felt on my before picture that I listed. posted Dec 2009
My Goals
Today my goals are to get through a rough time in my life, clean up the garbage and push forward to a simplier life. Dec 2009: Part of this is accomplished. Simplier allows more time to help others. I want to help others attain their goals on transformation.
I thought I could Hula Hoop (one missing component)
My Intentions
To follow the BFL nutrition and workouts and offer and gain support from my T-family. I will workout the BFL way, incorporate other workouts, and follow the nutrition exactly. I know if I feed my body then my mind won't crave. For my mind to crave only healthy foods in proportionate amounts. Feed the body and my mind so they continue to crave what BFL & T gives to me everyday. To make sure that I eat every two to three hours. I set my cell phone alarm, I will always carry three shakes, a bucket of cottage cheese mixed with walnuts and blueberries with me so I don't get caught without food. My fast food restaurant is the grocery store. I will not drive through anywhere. These places are poison!I I will drink my water and take my supplements, I hope to help people stay the path during their Transformation with nutrition suggestions. I will finish a winner!
Who I'd Like to Inspire
I would like to inspire anyone who wants to change. I hope my family joins transformation as they watch me go through the process. It's so important for us to be able to look to others for inspiration and be inspiration to them. My trainer last year was my mentor, now I hope to mentor others in the community and help them push pass their limiting beliefs.
