Hi Suzy, I am so excited to be meeting more AZ members. I hope that you can come out for a hike next Sunday so we can meet in person. I love your profile pic, what great smiles :) I went to biosphere 2 this last year with some of the boys that I work with for a tour. It was really neat. My favorite was the bladder.. Very cool. Suzy, Don't let one bad day of food get you down. There is always tomorrow to start fresh. Try some of the recipes in the Nutrition section of the Challenge pages. They are from Eating for Life and are great! I prep my snacks ahead of time and have them in the car with me ect. I don't go anywhere without them and my water. It helps me stay on track so I can make it home before going through a drive through. YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE AN AMAZING TUESDAY!!!! Lots of love, Mary

Hi Suzy. I just wanted to invite you to the hike that we will be doing on Dec. 13th at South Mountain. We will all gather for lunch afterwards. It is just a few Arizona Transformation friends. Then on Jan. 17th we will be having a very large group running in the PF Changs 1/2 marathon. We would love to have you join us! I Am

I am a state contractor/tech writer/program evaluator in Tempe, AZ, with a dachshund, an Old English Sheepdog, and a diluted calico cat as my constant companions. I have three honorary nephews (13, 15, and 18) who live nearby whom I love to bits!!! I love God, family, friends, my neighbors, my life here in Tempe.

My Favorite Charity

To me, Transformation Means

Living consciously and making wise choices about how I spend my time and what I put into my body.

My Goals

To work out at least four times a week; at least twice with my trainer at Arizona State University (weight training and occasional racquetball) and twice on my own (cardio and possibly weight training).

To walk/jog 10,000 steps a day on non-weight-training days; to walk 7,500+ steps on weight-training days.

To eat right -- five to six small, balanced meals daily, including protein shakes.

To have my "God-time" -- time to pray, study the Bible, live the Golden Rule -- helping others

To lose 10 pounds and to build my muscles and cardiovascular endurance. This 10 pounds is the start of losing 45 pounds by summertime.

My Intentions

To consciously live these next eight weeks according to my highest sense of balance -- spiritual, mental, physical, nutritional.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

Anyone who needs inspiration!
