Abby you are a beautiful soul. . . Thank you so much for sharing your story. My favorite quote that I need to hear, "You body is an extraordinary tool, and you need to take care of it." Thanks again! =)
Abby your story is inspirational. When my brother died accidentally in Mexico at age 26, he was immediately rushed out of his room in a body bag for an "autopsy". We were never allowed to see him that morning even after he passed away. This was over 20 years ago and there was/is a huge black market for young healthy organs....although we would have preferred to donate them rather than them be stolen and sold for money, there is comfort in knowing that some of his organs likely were a gift of life to another human being. More people need to donate their organs as there is a long wait list - hence the black market as well... thanks for sharing this story Bill. It is inspiring and also brings comfort. ~Heather
Your beautiful story is so inspirational Abby. Congrats on making the polo team and those 8 (wow) gold medals -- primo stuff. All the best to you, Micky
You have been blessed! Thank you for sharing this story. Watching your story also makes me want to take a closer look at my children as they too need to CHANGE. Matter of fact my one daughter said she wanted to do the Body for life. We'll have to give her much more needed and deserved attention indeed. One step one day at a time. Thanks again. To be so young and inspiring is wonderful! Take care.
Abby,
I loved your story.......you will inspire many to live their life to the fullest.
It is people like you who make me happy to know that I wil be an organ donor and hopefully give someone a second chance one day!
Best Wishes,
Kim
