Transformation Exercise #13
This was a difficult assignment for me. I had a hard time on choosing the charity. It is just so hard to narrow it down to just one. My charity is Make-A-Wish.
The reason I would chose Make-A-Wish is because of all the charities I dealt with in my life so far. It has left the biggest impression. When I was a teenager I had the opportunity to volunteer at Make-A-Wish and see some wishes get granted. I see children as our future. I do not know how I would react if I was diagnosed with a life threatening disease at this age, so to be so young and diagnosed with a life threatening disease has to be difficult. I see it very hard for children to keep hope and stay positive. What always amazed me was how positive and full of hope some of the children were. What I love about Make-A-Wish is that shows children the power of giving. It all so shows the children that anything is possible. I have seen children that had their wishes granted and survived through their life threatening diagnoses give back and really practice the “Law of Reciprocation.”

"shows children the power of giving"..... What an absolutely beautiful thing.....
Hello! Thanks for welcoming me, I'm just getting started so I'm sure I'll have lots of questions! Again thanks for the warm welcome! :-)
Dusty's back pocket is a good charity too!!
Make a Wish is a fabulous charity. Children are truly remarkable and amazingly strong and resilient in the face of chronic illness. They deserve to experience what Make a Wish so graciously offers them. It's a wonderful thing to be a part of.
I want to throw in my .02 at my organization that I gave $5,000 of the gift to. The ManKind project has been a very powerful part of my life and if someone does not tell you about it, you probably will not find it. If you get a chance today, check it out. www.mkp.org.
