Day 18 - A Challenge

I just found out I'm goin going to a professional baseball game on Saturday.  This is our local minor league team.

I love going out to the ball park...the smell of the grass, the crack of the bat, and the roar of the crowd.  It's like a giant summer party.  In the past, the ballpark has been a place that I've tended to overeat, as well.  I used to order hot dogs, penuts, popcorn, real coke, pretzals with cheese, funnel cakes.  Basically, I sat there shoving crap in my mouth as I watched the game and visited with my friends.

This time around, I'm going to eat a nice healthy meal BEFORE the game and then use my time at the ballpark to just visit.  I'm not even going to consider eating all the crap

I've thought about it and prayed on it...and none of the food in that ballpark is going to make me feel as good as being skinny will.  I'm excereising my free will.  And as an addict, I'm taking it one day at a time.  I don't know what I'll do next week, but I know today (and on Saturday) i'm going to eat right.

I hope you are having a great day and overcoming your challenges.

God Bless

You can do it! I wrote a similar blog about going to a Braves game a few weeks ago. It was hard to sit there and eat nothing, but I felt so good afterwards. You will too!
