Day 4 - Temptation
The first part of this week has gone really well. I had a very organized plan and it was easy to stick my feeding schedule. Today, however, I ran into a major challenge. I decided to invite a really good client of mine out to lunch. She happened to want to eat at one of my favorite restaurants.
CODE RED, CODE RED, CODE RED...DANGER WILL ROBINSON, DANGER!!!
This place has very good food that is VERY fattening. Before you even order, they bring out trays of delicous homemade bread with about a 1/2" of melted butter under each mini-loaf...the salads have homeade dressings, the main courses are delicous, and the desserts are to die for. My client went ahead and dug right into the bread, ordered about a 2,000 calorie main course, and had a salad with blue cheese dressing. I, on the other hand, ordered a small grilled chicken breast, some steamed veggies, and a small side salad with fat free dressing. And you know what...it was AWESOME!! More important than that, I felt great...especially when I got back to my office. Normally after a meal at this place, I feel like a big fat Polar Bear that's been shot with a tranquilzer gun. But today, I felt great and was very productive in the afternoon. Not only did I feel good physically, I felt great mentally and spritually, knowing I controlled the food...the food didn't control me.
I also had a very good cardio workout this morning. I was good and sweaty and breathing hard at the end. Felt great. I really love being healthy.
I'm still not seeing much of a difference in my size...but it's only been 4 days. Maybe by the end of next week I'll see just a little change. I sure hope so.

I think the biggest changes for you right now are on the inside in your attitude about your health and also your thought process. In those two things, you have made GREAT strides this week. The physical aspect will have to follow suit now! Great job! :)
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! It does feel great. Just be patient with the changes. you change from the inside out and if you've done a lot of damage to yourself over the years, it does take a few weeks to regulate everything internally. THEN you start seein the cool changes! KEEP IT UP!
