Day 6 - Temptation Island

I've made a lot of mistakes this week, but one thing I managed to do correctly was stay on course with BFL.  All week long I've been thinking about my free day tommorow.  Last time I tried BFL, I only lasted about 10 days.  On the free day, I went absolutley crazy.  I started eating early in the morning and didn't quit until bedtime.  I'm really serious, I gorged myself.  I kept eating long after I was stuffed, just because I could.  I was like a food prisoner on a 1-day pass.

I think the reason I did that was because I didn't really want lose the weight.  Oh sure, I wanted to be skinny.  But I wasn't really committed to it like I am this time.  This time is different.  I'm going to lose the weight.  I'm not suffering at all.

I'm planning on having a Breakfast Pizza (straight out of EFL) in the morning, I'll have a shake about 10, before leaving for church.  After church I'm taking the family to a restaurant that has delicous grilled chicken and steamed veggies.  My only indulgence is going to be a bowl of popcorn tommorow afternoon.  But even it won't be that big of a deal...I'll pop about a 1/2 cup of corn in a couple tablespoons of Olive Oil.  For dinner, I'll probably have some left over chicken and rice. 

THe main thing I'm looking forward to is just a day of relaxing and not keeping track of everything.  I'm going to eat well...but not stuff myself with crap.  I want to be ready Monday mornign to get right back on the program.

I know exactly what you mean.. I have done the overindulgence thing to many times on free day.. It just doesnt' feel good.. Way to go, your planning even on a day that you don't have too.. You'll be back on Monday ready to Roll... Lori
