Day 7 - Good First Week
I had a successful first week on BFL. I weighed myself this morning and I've lost abaout 5 pounds from my highest point a couple of weeks ago. I know alot of that is water weight and excess food inside me, but it's progress in the right direction and I feel good about it. I could also swear my pants felt just a tad looser...that may have more to do with my gut not pushing out (because it's so full of food) than with any real weight loss.
The biggest reason I had success this week was because I prepared and I worked hard. Before the week began, I had a plan for what I was going to eat at each of my 6 meals everyday. I knew what work outs I was going to do and when. I visualized doing all I needed to do and I repeated my goal every morning and every night. This preperation made the week flow very easily. I just stepped into the role I'd already created for myself in my mind.
This whole process of preparing and being orgnized takes a lot of effort. As I do more of it, I think I'll become more efficient at it...but at some point, I've really got to accept that this is the way the rest of my life is going to be. I just don't think I'll ever be able to trust myself to eat the right foods spontaneously. I'm alwasys going to need a plan.
I hope your week went well and if today was your free day, I hope you enjoyed it and indulged in a few things you might not normally eat. THanks for reading my blog.
God Bless.

Great job this week TedBell! Having a plan ahead of time is so important. I did take my free day today and had a few indulgences. Stay strong on week #2! Be the change, Paul.
