Working hard!! Love that Assignment 4 is here. Perfect timing!
Hi Everyone!
Well, well, well, already at assignment 4. And it couldn't have come at a better time. I had just had an extremely crazy work week and pretty much fell off the transformation wagon for a week. Felt like i had been run over by a mack truck and was working on getting back to full steam ahead. Love that it was all about keeping the motivation going throughout the transformation challenge.
I read over the assignment a couple of times before I wrote down anything. Really tried to listen to what Bill said about thinking with my heart and not my brain. And I came up with what I will now be reading over everyday. This is my fuel, my motivation that will keep me going throughout this. And I'm so grateful for this.
So, I know you are all dying to find out what I wrote....Okay, here it is.
My Transformation Purpose:
It's my purpose to do more in this world than what I'm doing now. To transform my life in all aspects, to be the extraordinary person I'm meant to be; a role model, a helper, an inspiration to others.
The other thing that was great about this is that a friend of mine happened to email me a poem he needed to have printed out for a class he was teaching for me. I sat down to read it and couldn't believe how much it applies to this. I posted it in the forums but I don't know if too many folks have read it. I feel like it has so much to offer everyone, so i'll put it again here:
Our Deepest Fear- By Marianne Williamson
Our Deepest Fear
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
OUr deepest fear
is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness,
that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?
Actually who are we not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people
won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine as children do.
We were born to make manifest
the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And when we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.
I love that! So inspiring and eye-opening. Hope you all enjoy it.
Also, made some new recipes from Eating for Life! Made the taco pasta salad. Enjoy that! So good. I have some in my freezer to enjoy next week. Woo-hoo!
Right now I have some banana slices in the freezer so that I can make the "anyday sundae". Can't wait to try that. I don't have chocolate sauce, so I'm going to whip up some of my own with swiss miss diet cocoa (25 cal) and some creamy peanut butter and water over the burner. Should be tasty.
Have missed writing in this! Finally had some time tonight. Excited that I'm getting to go away to the country for the weekend tomorrow. Going to get to ride a bike outside! And be by the ocean. Can't wait.
Okay, hope everyone has a great weekend! Keep up alll of the hard/inspiring work.
Take care and God Bless,
Vickie
