Being thankful

Okay, I know Thanksgiving is still a month away, but I'm starting early!! =)This is something I used to do on a daily or weekly basis, thinking about all I'm thankful for, kinda like Oprah's "grateful list."  But I've gotten out of the habit of it, and today I was reminded of how

Wow! Great powerful intentions! We are the children of god! Our children are god's creation and gift to us! Celebrate your transformation! We are the change!

Great Intentions! I'm right there with you. Life can pass us by so quickly. And I know our lives matter. We need to make a difference...no one should go at it alone. And that includes thinking we can do it alone. I'm convinced the most important aspect of this program....will probably be in the spiritual realm. I lost my mother to cancer when she was in her early forties. Life isn't always good, but it's great to live life...good.

Good Luck... I love the name that you have chosen. Reminds me of the scripture where we must die to self. Its all about him and worshipping him!! Have an awesome day!!

I Am

I'm a 37 yr old single mom of Brianna (9) and Jordan (7). My faith in God and my role as a mom are the most important things in my life. I care about the pain and desperation I see in people every day. I want to share the joy and peace I have found that comes from living for a higher purpose. I care about helping people improve their quality of life by learning to live within their means - building wealth and minimizing debt. I care about eliminating the devastating effects of cancer through healthy living, prevention measures, early diagnosis and treatment, support programs, and research for cures. I care about the spiritual and eternal destiny of everyone who wants to believe that this life is just the beginning of the journey.

My Favorite Charity

American Cancer Society

To me, Transformation Means

Not settling for what is "okay" or "good enough," always striving for something better. There is always room for improvement in my physical fitness and health, mental clarity, spiritual focus. I have spent too many years neglecting all these areas in exchange for what is easy and comfortable - and as a result I felt slow, sluggish, unhappy and half-dead. What a waste! In January I lost a friend and co-worker to cancer - he was only 30 years old. That was a wake up call to me. Life is too beautiful and precious to waste it being half-dead. I want the rest of my life to be a series of transformations!

My Goals

By 11/9/08... Lose 35 lbs. of fat, gain 10 lbs. of muscle, decrease bodyfat by 18%. To jog for 2 miles without walking. To increase my energy so that I'm alert and energized all day, to sleep better and wake up refreshed. To eliminate the need for hypertension medication. To help 3 other people complete their own transformation.

My Intentions

To fulfill the potential that God intended when He put me here. To “fill up” the space my life is taking up on this planet, so that when I leave this life there is not one ounce of wasted space left. To perpetuate the transformation experience in others again and again, one life at a time. To live a life my kids are proud to follow.

Who I'd Like to Inspire

Most importantly, I want to inspire my children. I want them to see the strength and character of a mom determined to make healthy changes. I want them to learn the value of self-discipline and working towards a goal. I also want to inspire friends who are overweight and unhappy, and show them that they can get healthy also.
